Todd Engel has led the fight to release the documents that will prove to the public how corrupt our Federal Justice system has become, and release him.
He has now been sentenced to 14 years in prison for essentially "a Facebook post".

These documents are known as the “Wooten Memos”, and they come from BLM Special Agent Larry Wooten, who has attained whistle-blower status for coming forward to prove the allegations against the Bureau of Land Management and the prosecution.
After the first memo was released to the public, through Washington State Representative Matt Shea and Redoubt News, in December 2017, the case against rancher Cliven Bundy and his co-defendants was dismissed with prejudice by Judge Gloria Navarro.
However, only the four defendants that were in that tier had their charges dismissed. Later, the defendants in the final tier had their charges also thrown out, but the defendants previous to that time were not addressed. This includes the men that were coerced into taking plea deals.
Additionally, it includes 2 men that were wrongly convicted based on the misleading information by the prosecution. Greg Burleson was sentenced to over 65 years, which will amount to the rest of his life in prison for his stand in Bunkerville. Todd Engel, though convicted over a year ago,has recieved 14 years.. After the Wooten memo was released, Engel filed to have his case included in the dismissal. The prosecution, led by Steven Myhre, claimed that the information revealed by Wooten did not pertain to Engel, and then Myhre tried to claim Wooten was a liar and not truthful.
This caused Mr. Wooten to double-down and write a second memo that is said to contain so much damaging information that the prosecution is in a panic to keep it from the public. It is currently under very tight seal by the court.
Engel gave updates that included information on the current motions to depose Larry Wooten in court and get his information on the record. He has also said that Greg Burleson, through his attorney, has joined with Engel’s motions.

While celebration commences in the latest victory for persecuted ranchers Dwight and Stephen Hammond by the pardon issued by President Trump we must realize that exposing the truth and the fight for freedom moves on. And to date not one federal agent or prosecutors who have collectively broken many laws have been charged with those crimes but the two FBI agents who fired first upon LaVoy and company hitting Ryan Bundy in the arm and killing LaVoy Finicuim.
In this video you will hear Ammon Bundy's testimony from the trial that Federal Agents conspired to commit acts of blatant murderous activities upon protesters while laughing and joking about it. If the same had been of those protesting speaking of "shoot to kill" actions planned against federal agents there would have been even more charges and likely a minimum of 20 years in Federal prison. In my humble opinion, as long as these people have no "title of nobility", and actually even if they did, they should be governed by the same laws you and I are. And it is absolutely clear that equal protection under the law, and fair treatment is but a myth.
Listen carefully to Ammon Bundy's words regarding the comments of the Bureau of Land Management agents that was captured on their own body cameras. All they were awaiting was to be unleashed. But while waiting, these thugs were speaking of shooting women in the head and plans to kill. No official "ROE" or Rules of Engagement were officially sanctioned as "shoot to kill", at least not officially. Makes you wonder why the Bureau of Land Management illegally shredded a large portion of the evidence of their investigation.

Bureau of Land Management agents shredded sensitive documents about their roundup of Bundy family cattle in the tense hours before their April 2014 standoff with armed Bundy followers, federal prosecutors have confirmed.
In court papers, prosecutors said the hurried shredding occurred as agents at the impoundment site feared they were in imminent danger and about to be overrun by a crowd of angry Bundy supporters.
The shredding began the evening of April 11, 2014, and continued until BLM agents were forced to abandon the impoundment camp the next morning, BLM Agent Kent Kleman wrote in an accompanying four-page affidavit.
Among the items shredded were copies of the impoundment operations plan, maps and papers containing cellphone numbers and personal information about government employees and contractors involved in the roundup, Kleman said.
The destruction of the documents was necessary to “prevent disclosure of law enforcement sensitive information to persons engaged in criminal activity,” prosecutors wrote in their court papers.
So the claim is that this was "sensitive material". They were "worried about being overrun and the material being seized by the Bundy Protesters". This explanation is not only laughable but it also shows what they were actually producing themselves was the fecal matter of cows (BS) while shooting prize bulls in the head and shooting more and placing them in a huge mass grave hole dug by them in the desert which I personally recorded with Ryan Bundy and Jerry Delemus.
Of course this same agency had prosecutors, FBI, helicopters, trucks coming and going, etc.
So why was this evidence not simply removed to storage pending the trials?
The "destruction of documents" (a crime) is then justified in their minds because they were scared.
The same thugs that were chomping at the bit on body cams to kill protesters.
Defense investigator, Keith Gordon, had obtained bags of shredded evidence left behind by the BLM, and Hill sought to dismiss the charges against his client on grounds it amounted to the destruction of evidence in the criminal case.
But prosecutors responded that the dismissal is unwarranted and that Hill failed to establish that he has been unable to obtain copies of the shredded documents from other sources.
They also argued in their court papers that the shredding occurred because the BLM agents did not want the information to fall into the hands of people who had threatened them. It was not done to withhold evidence in a criminal case put together nearly two years later, they said.
In his affidavit, Kleman added that the shredding was “not conducted in bad faith or to hide exculpatory information that would have been useful to the defense.”
Kleman said agents had a duty as law enforcement officers to keep the internal documents from the Bundy forces as tensions mounted during the confrontation.
“Such information was contained in the confidential operational plan from the impound, which is a master planning document of the operation that included not only details of how the government planned to carry out the cattle impound but also included detailed personal information of the government employees and contractors who planned and participated in the operation,” Kleman said.
Hill offered a different opinion in an interview.
“The government’s nonchalance about the destruction of evidence is just the latest travesty in this case,” he said. “In this country, you have a right to see the documents made by the people trying to put you in prison. The government shouldn’t get a pass for shredding papers and notes that just might have shown that Ammon didn’t do anything wrong.
The shredding effort comes on the heels of another unusual government disclosure in the high-profile case.
Prosecutors confirmed in court documents that undercover FBI agents posed as a documentary film crew to gather evidence during their investigation into the Bunkerville standoff. Ryan Bundy was deeply suspicious about this so called production company as you can see here:
What freedom of the press do we really have, especially if you are a whistle-blower or someone revealing government corruption, if you have to assume the press interviewing you are themselves undercover agents?
Defense lawyers who have seen FBI reports of the undercover operation have said in court documents that the company’s name was Longbow Productions.
Several of the defendants charged in the case, including Ammon Bundy, were tricked into doing interviews with the undercover agents before they were charged, defense lawyers have alleged. These FBI agents posing as journalists fed Greg Burleson booze and got him to speak hypothetically about the "defensive perimeter" of the Ranch and or Militia camp, while the BLM openly were chomping at the bit to commit murder with impunity.
Prosecutors contend the ruse was a proper investigative technique. Of course they do. What do they care about the Free Press or the chilling effect this all will have for people trying to get the word out about government corruption and overreach?
“We cannot overstate how damaging it is for federal agents to pose as journalists,” Katie Townsend, the litigation director for the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, said in a statement. “This practice undermines the credibility of the independent news media, and should not be tolerated.”
Myhre’s team of prosecutors had dismissed several claims of missing and hidden evidence by the defendants as “fantastical” and a “fishing expedition.” However, an investigation into the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) handling of the 2014 Nevada standoff with the Bundys revealed “incredible bias,” widespread misconduct and likely illegal actions by the BLM.

A federal judge rejected prosecutors’ request Tuesday to reconsider her dismissal of the case against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, his two sons and friend Ryan Payne.
U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro dismissed conspiracy charges against the four men on Jan. 8 after finding that prosecutors had acted “with prejudice” throughout the trial, The Oregonian reported. Federal prosecutors violated federal law and failed to share evidence favorable to the defendant’s case with the court.
“The Court’s finding of outrageous government conduct was not in error,” Navarro wrote in her 11-page ruling, obtained by The Oregonian. “On the contrary, a universal sense of justice was violated by the Government’s failure to provide evidence that is potentially exculpatory.”
The prosecutors’ request did not make any new arguments or bring forth any evidence that Navarro had not already considered in her decision to dismiss the case.
“The Court gave somber consideration to the ramifications of its Order and found that it was in the interest of justice to dismiss the case with prejudice,” Navarro wrote. “A motion for reconsideration should not be ‘used to ask the Court to rethink what it has already thought.’”
Prosecutors requested the court grant another trial against the Bundys and Payne, calling the missteps and violations throughout the trial “inadvertent.”
“The Brady violations found by the court are regrettable and benefit no one,” Nevada’s Acting U.S. Attorney Steven Myhre wrote in a legal brief, according to The Oregonian. “But because the government neither flagrantly violated nor recklessly disregarded its obligations, the appropriate remedy for such violations is a new trial.”

The article that follows my commentary is from a local Arizona newspaper. I am in Arizona and have spoken to former military spec ops who have reviewed the location found. I have also had personal experience with the VOP leader Louis Arthur. I commend the cause of assisting veterans who need it, but I must issue a warning regarding this man. While I fully believe Mr. Arthur is acting upon the appearance of a noble cause, my experience with his behavior at both the Bundy Ranch where he was asked by Militia Camp leaders to leave, and at Malheur where he also came and was immediately asked to leave, left me seriously concerned. Louis has a very bad habit of exaggerating and seeking self publicity. His given nickname is “Screwy Louie”. Perhaps some will think this is unfair. But it is factual. This was what people began calling him in Bunkerville. When he packed and left from the Bundy Camp, he returned the next day with police alleging that the property he left behind was stolen, had tents searched and individuals forced to present ID to police. That situation in and of itself could have been explosive. Our video of the incident of course was terminated off of YouTube. I fully support our veterans and the cause of their care. And in this case what was found needed to be reported. And I even agree that it should be searched with cadaver dogs. But what people also must understand is that in the Arizona desert the temperatures reach unlivable levels. The camp I saw including the plastic container I have seen in survival camps. With a home made swamp cooler or block of ice it can keep temperatures down. The straps attached to the tree is disturbing. But it is as of yet inconclusive as to their purpose. But let’s assume the worst. It is an abandoned camp. I would support the Arizona Militia patrolling to catch these coyotes in the act, but anyone considering heading there after the inflammatory talk we heard from Mr. Arthur challenging local police in what could have lead to a StandOff was yet more evidence of his lack of rational thought and tendencies to provoke. Fear porn gets attention. And while we all can not stand abuse to others regardless of where they came from or their illegal status, I ask that everyone use discernment before acting, and fact check everything before you react.
As can be seen by the video, the claims that have come from Louis Arthur have been completely exaggerated, and mostly all false.

A local group that received national attention last week after claiming it found a child sex-trafficking camp near Interstate 19 said Thursday that members found a human skull northwest of Tucson.
Pima County sheriff’s deputies responded to the area and found a human skull, as well as old backpacks and other bones they determined were remains of animals, said Deputy James Allerton, a department spokesman.
(The skull in fact came from a location 20 miles away from this camp)
Veterans on Patrol, an advocacy group that looks for homeless veterans in washes and desert areas, reported the find to the Bureau of Land Management, which contacted the Sheriff’s Department, Allerton said.
Veterans on Patrol did not respond to a request for comment Thursday. Through Facebook posts, some of which had tens of thousands of views and thousands of comments within hours, the group said it found the bones near West Manville Road about a mile west of North Anway Road.
The Pima County Medical Examiner determined late Thursday that the skull was that of an adult. Deputies did not find any indication the skull was connected to “any sort of sex trafficking,” Allerton said. (This counters the claim that police didnt investigate)
The call from Veterans on Patrol came from “an area where undocumented immigrants have been known to travel through on foot,” Allerton said. Human remains have been found in the area before and often turn out to belong to illegal border crossers, he said.
(The temperatures in the middle of the Arizona desert in the heat of summer can kill easily and without help, while trying to avoid detection, this would be a death sentence unless discovered by Police, Border Patrol, or a Militia - it happens all the time. Without evidence of foul play, there is no reason to believe that the skull discovered was as a result of criminal activity.)
Human remains were found April 17 about 2 miles from the site of Thursday’s find, according to a database maintained by the humanitarian aid group Humane Borders and linked from the website of the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner. More sets of human remains were found in the area Aug. 15, 2017, and Jan. 17, 2017.
The database lists 118 sets of human remains suspected of belonging to illegal border crossers in Pima County in 2017 and 40 so far in 2018.
The area where the skull was found Thursday is more than 20 miles from the homeless camp Veterans on Patrol found last week near the intersection of Interstate 19 and West Valencia Road.
Veterans on Patrol claimed the camp was the site of child sex-trafficking. However, the Tucson Police Department and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said they found no evidence of illegal activity.

The Federal prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss the superseding indictment against four defendants in the Bunkerville Standoff on Wednesday, February 7th.
Defendants from Tier 2, the final group set for trial, include Dave H. Bundy, Mel D. Bundy, Joseph D. O’shaughnessy, And Jason D. Woods.
The case is, in essence, over for these four men, as the motion specifically asked for the indictment to be dismissed with prejudice. This means there is no chance for the government to come back and attempt to try them for the same charges.
In light of the Judge’s order to dismiss the charges against the previous group of defendants last month, it is expected that Judge Gloria Navarro will grant this motion quickly.
The government did cite their reasoning to include another filing they made today.
The prosecutors filed a ‘Motion To Reconsider Orders Dismissing Indictment With Prejudice’ against the Tier 1 defendants, including Cliven Bundy, his sons Ammon and Ryan, and Activist Ryan Payne.
In this motion, the government admits to the snipers and the cameras:
There has never been any dispute that armed federal officers positioned themselves on public land so they could surveil the Bundy ranch to watch for signs of impending interference with the operation, and that at least for a time, they used a camera to assist with that surveillance.
However, the prosecution does not address the fact that they called these an “Urban Legend” and implied they were a fantasy made up by the defendants. Stating in court that the defendants were on a “fishing expedition”, they made every attempt to hide this evidence from the Court.
Judge Navarro gave the prosecution everything they wanted for months, actually years, until the truth was forced to come out. She ruled against the defendants at every turn. She finally tried to make things right last month when she ruled for the dismissal with prejudice.
The court was correct when it ruled that the prosecution violated the Brady rules multiple times. This seems to be one last-ditch effort on the part of AUSA Steven Myhre and company to save face.
Quite a lot is riding on this indictment for the government, including hundreds of millions of dollars. They must find a way to justify this bad behavior. Let’s hope that Judge Navarro does not fall for their fairy tales once again.
