Watch as Mellisa Lucas, a candidate for public office is dragged from the floor for a false claim of directing her comments to an individual representative. What she was doing was reading names into the West Virginia State House record during public comment. One of the elected representatives claimed she violated the rules by addressing specific individuals, a draconian rule that prevents the public from receiving any redress. This was a false argument. They do not want their names associated with deeds read into the record. This was wrongfully used against this woman who was there for the matter at hand, and was exposing who was financially benefitting by those who wanted this bill passed.
As a Conservative I find it morally reprehensible not to be consistent with principle over partisan politics. This woman was obviously a Democrat, but she was absolutely correct for pointing out that legalized property rights theft via "democracy", is still theft. I applaud her bringing these facts to light. Those who stopped her should be immediately removed from office.
